Spring 2017 Career & Internship Extravaganza

March 8 is a big day for UA Little Rock’s graduating seniors. The Community Connection Center is hosting its Career and Internship Extravaganza during Grad Fest.

“The point is to connect students with employers in their field,” said Felisha Thomas, a graduate assistant at the Community Connection Center.

Around 36 local employers from various professional fields are scheduled to attend. Among them are Arkansas Children Hospital, Arvest Bank, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, eSTEM Public Charter Schools, ABC affiliate KATV, Little Rock Police Department, Little Rock School District, and Verizon Wireless.

UA Little Rock’s Graduate School office will also have a table at the event where students can get fee waivers for the graduate school application.

The extravaganza will be held in the Jack Stephens from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students should dress in business attire for the event.
